So, I just checked and five people clicked over here on Christmas Day. While I sweatily jammed the roof (backwards) onto a Littlest Pet Shop pet shop, and then road tripped out to the suburbs to eat a delicious meal that I made zero percent of (Dipmas is best, this is a close second), FIVE lovely souls were leaving analytic footprints all over me.
Thanks pals. That truly means a lot. Even if you used the words "teen" "poop" to find me.
SO. December is SO busy but I somehow managed to jam in some quality Netflix'ing.
Because guess what makes gift wrapping not such a torturous exercise of "Find the Tape You JUST HAD"?
Here's what helped keep me happy even when everything I wrapped was a weird size and OH MY GOD, I JUST HAD THE TAPE!
The heartbreaking and fascinating restaurant documentary, Spinning Plates.
The ALSO heartbreaking and fascinating back-up singer documentary, 20 Feet From Stardom. (It deservedly won an Oscar AND re-ignited my hate-on for Phil Spector.)
For the 4 year old, we roughly ripped open the All Hail King Julien party-in-a-box that came in the mail from Netflix and got in a good sweaty two hours volleyball spiking the party balloons at each other. Followed by entranced silence as she mainlined the first few episodes while I mailed the last Christmas card. On December 22nd. #HailKingJulien indeed.
What are you watching and loving on Netflix Canada? Keep the recommendations coming, yo!
As a member of Netflix Canada's #streamteam I will be giving you the straight goods on what I'm watching each month in exchange for a yearly membership. It's a match made in heaven, really.
